\nSounds are always in situ. They always take life in a physical space but they also carry in them the memory of a space. Everyday objects and sounds are part of our memories and they participate in the construction of our identity.<\/p>\n
The acoustic performance moves found items into sounds instruments and is created from a minimal instrumentarium made of small things collected by myself in several locations of Chengdu – as Quingcheng mountain, Luxelakes or the Down Town. The gestures sequences build a visual and sound experience dealing with potentials of the place. The surface of my table becomes a miniature territory where the strategies of displacement shape an instant composition that appears and transforms constantly as well as Chengdu\u2019s urban landscape. Based on cyclic gestures in a resonant space, actions accelerates the wear of these objects through frictions, while resounded the space and stretching the time perception.
