”Another World” is not a specific or visible spatiotemporal dimension.<\/p>\n
It is another perspective from which to view the world,<\/p>\n
a different attitude towards life exhibited by children,<\/p>\n
and an “ambition” to construct a new world.<\/p>\n
It exists within our courage and curiosity, which is the driving force for humans to continuously explore the world and overturn existing knowledge frameworks.<\/p>\n
The masters of this Another World are these adorable children,<\/p>\n
some of whom are shy, some are outgoing, and some are moody…<\/p>\n
They possess their own language, ways of collaboration and action,<\/p>\n
and they tirelessly ask questions about the world,<\/p>\n
Why? Why is it so? Why not?…<\/p>\n
They are not just “playing around” as we might imagine,<\/p>\n
but once they pour their passion into something, their energy is boundless.<\/p>\n
We need to learn how to join their world,<\/p>\n
a mysterious space that is difficult to articulate and created through trial and error and action.<\/p>\n
They may seem immature, but they are the prototypes of a future world with infinite possibilities.<\/p>\n
We must view them in a way that transcends “aesthetics” and “childlike fun”,<\/p>\n
as they possess a much greater vision than we imagine.<\/p>\n
We need to try walking among them, reading and dialoguing,<\/p>\n
and you will see the children’s<\/p>\n
daily joys and pains,<\/p>\n
intertwined realities and dreams;<\/p>\n
as well as<\/p>\n
sharp critiques of reality,<\/p>\n
renewed understandings of death,<\/p>\n
endless imaginations of a “new country”,<\/p>\n
and deep thoughts and anxieties buried within their inner worlds…<\/p>\n
They are neither our past nor our future,<\/p>\n
they are simply themselves,<\/p>\n
worthy of our respect and learning.<\/p>\n
