Basic profile

Yu Erge is a choreographer, dancer, and national first-class performer who currently works at the Sichuan Vocational College of Arts. She studied at the Sichuan Dance School and the Toulouse Contemporary Choreography Center in France. She created and performed the work “MOL!”, which was resident in Cite des Art Paris, France. and performed in the Beijing Youth International Theatre Festival; The work “Nighthawk” also known as “Searching for Frank” was created at the A4 International Residency Art Center and was invited to participate in the second Anaya Theatre Festival. 2023 SKIN was selected by the Swiss Cultural Foundation for its artist-in-residence program. 2023 “A Rose for Emily” was co-commissioned by Shanghai International Dance Center Theatre and LOOKLlVE and performed at the 2023 Anaya Theatre Festival. She was invited to perform live at the 40th anniversary of the Centre Pompidou in Paris and in 2020 to perform LES CHAUVES SOURIS DU VOLCAN at the Theatre of the Centre Pompidou. She was recognized by the French music and culture magazines “In Les Rockuptib” and “Huffpost” as a promising dancer and theater actor and one of the artists featured in the 2020 French Cultural Center column.
