On-Site Practice

Born in Yunnan, graduated from the Experimental Art Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, currently based in Chengdu. In recent years, his work has tended towards localized art practices, mainly discussing modernity issues of ethnic minorities, especially reflecting on the comparison of returning to one’s own cultural environment. Major exhibitions include: “lteration and Diffusion Pu Yun’s Spatial Research Project”, AC Cube, Chengdu(2023); “Southwest Chronicles: Cross-Century Sino-German lmage Dialogue”, Contemporary Gallery Kunming (2022); “Supo Art Space Season1/2”, Chengdu (2021-2023); “Words and Feelings” – Light, HONINArt Center (2021); “Locality or Hybridity: the Transformation and Overlapping of Spiritual Space in Chengdu since 1980s”, Luxehills Art Museum (2020).
