2024 RE-CREATE《Artist Sharing Session》

Li Sizhu, a dynamic installation artist in the United States, and Chen Liuyi, an art theory researcher, held an open sharing session in the form of OPEN STUDIO in the exhibition hall of CPI, introducing the important works, traveling exhibition projects and project experiences of their artistic careers to the visitors with an open attitude and perspective.
Artist Li Sizhu and curator Liu Yi had an interesting conversation about the development of contemporary art in Chengdu. Sizhu shared her artistic thoughts and explorations with you, and she will present her work “Moonment” in this art season, which is inspired by the ancient poem of Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Jiuling, “The Moon is Born on the Sea, and the End of the World is at this time”. This work depicts a surreal and poetic seascape at night, which is expected to resonate with people in different places.
