Exhibition information

This exhibition is a solo presentation of Korean contemporary artist Kim Byungho, featuring his highly distinctive creations of order aesthetics. He repeats and iterates a single form to build ordered and restrained artistic shapes with standardized geometric modules. The countless industrial parts in the works are accurately designed through computer programs, mass-produced, and assembled with precise seamless joints. The artist employs geometric modules, extremely restrained systematic order, metallic luster and other elements to create installations that lead audiences to doubt existence and the environment. His works serve as an extreme magnification of the environment inhabited by contemporary people surrounded by all kinds of visual temptations. A total of eight large installations are on view in this exhibition. Through metal, mechanical production and geometric order, the exhibition presents the invisible forces hidden behind daily life that shape us.
